WOMEN'S MINISTRY AT A GLANCE
Our Women's Ministry at Greenwood exists to encourage women to develop meaningful friendships, to share practical and creative living ideas, and to deepen their love for God and the knowledge of His Word.
BIBLE STUDY
There are many ways for the women at Greenwood to develop new friendships and foster personal Christian growth. One of the ways is through a weekly small group Bible study hosted by one of our Women's Ministry team leaders. We meet Monday nights from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. Please refer to the church calendar for the most current Bible study and location.
EVENTS
We host many events throughout the year ranging from testimony sharing, Bible studies, movie nights, dessert nights and "Sundaes on Mondays" Nights. This year we are trying something new. We will be hosting a Book Club for one Monday in May. The book is entitled "Same kind of Difference as Me" by Ron Hall and Denver Moore, we have copies available in the church library. One of our resent popular events was "March Morning Madness" where several of the men cooked the ladies breakfast and hosted the morning meeting.
Are you in need of a getaway? Our "Greenwood Gals Getaway" every February is the perfect chance to "Escape" for one night to share God's Word and connect with our ladies in a more informal relaxed way. Please refer to our church calendar for up to date details of all our events.

Secret Sisters
This is an innovative way to foster encouragement, praying for one another and to receive a little "spoiling". This year long event starts in early February with ladies who have completed a questionnaire being secretly matched with another participating woman. Those participating in this event will then pray for the person whose name they have, as well as send notes of encouragement, leave small gifts or other expression of thoughtfulness. In turn you will receive the same. Secret Sister Reveal happens in December. This is a great way to give someone a pick me up and is great for yourself as well.
