Student Ministry at a Glance
We value the importance of providing valuable ministry and spiritual support for post-secondary, college and university students, and we are blessed to have so many young adults actively involved in our church. Ministries for students include our campus shuttle bus, student housing, small group bible studies, student luncheons, the adopt-a-student program and more. If you're looking for an opportunity to get plugged into a strong Christian community of students, come visit us at Greenwood.

Campus Shuttle Bus
Because many students find it difficult to arrange transportation to and from church on Sundays, we are pleased to offer Nipissing University and Canadore College students, who are living in residence, a campus shuttle bus every Sunday morning during the school year. The bus has two pick-up sites on campus and cancellations are announced in advance during our weekly worship service.
Pick-up Times: 10:40 a.m. - Upper Residence (Townhouses) at the Residence Office main doors.
10:45 a.m. - Lower Residence (Founder's House) main doors.
Student Housing
Many students and their families are looking for safe, reliable housing in a Christian atmosphere. Greenwood offers a number of contacts to help students and families in their search. We have contacts such as "Red Letter Rez" http://www.redletterinc.ca along with other private housing opportunities.
Student Luncheons
In our experience, one of the best ways to connect with students is with food! Being away from home (and mom's culinary expertise) can be tough. There's nothing more comforting to a student than a home cooked meal. Student luncheons, hosted by our Student Ministry Team, are offered to all our varsity students after our worship services, usually once a month. These luncheons provide a great opportunity for students to get to know each other, and provides us with a chance to get to know you! Student luncheons are announced in advance during our weekly worship services.
